It’s more than a year ago that tsunami devasted Japan. The situation is still dire for many japanese people. A japanese photographer Yuki Kokubo, started a project to help her parents. Her parents lost their jobs after the disasters and had no money saved, so Yuki sold photographs to support them. Yuki mentions that before the disaster she and her parents were not so close and she made an effort to get to know her family again. She started to record her conversations as they reflected on topics like life after the disasters, death, art, and family importance. Unfortunately, the funds to finish the documentary was insufficient so she started a project, via Kickstarter to raise money to finish documentary.

A Paper Record player

The always inspiring Graphic Designer, Kelli Anderson has designed a wedding invitation merging music and paper. In a booklet style invitation, with moving sewing needle along a disc one can get to hear a cheerful tune.
As one can imagine, there were a lot of trial and error. But the results was probably worth all those long hours of frustrations.
